Bird's Eye Views
There are two specific buildings offering great views of Boston and both are in the same part of town a little to the southwest of Boston Common. The John Hancock Observatory is the tallest building in New England (227m/740ft), built in 1972, with a viewing area on the 60th floor. There are also interactive exhibits, narrations about the skyline, high-powered telescopes and interactive quizzes.
